Rootbound
Grow a garden. Reclaim the land from King Rot.
The Plain is rotting. King Rot sleeps under his old pear tree, and his pests are eating the farm, the windmill and the greenhouse. Your garden is all that stands in the way.
How it plays
- Grow a garden of up to 8 beds: Thorn, Corn, Bean, Sunflower, Cap, Sprout and more.
- Pick 4 plants before each map and drag them into line. Who stands in front matters.
- Watch them fight. Spend Sun on Water, Mulch, Wither or Replant, and choose when.
- Win to earn Leaves. Raise plants to level 3 and pick a perk at levels 2 and 3.
- Five maps on the Plain end at King Rot's tree. Beat his guards first.

It runs in your browser, with mouse, keyboard or a gamepad. A few minutes covers one map.
This is an early playtest build. It sends a log of each run to the developer: the fights and the choices made, and no personal data. The game says so on its title screen.
